    HI, I hav a query
    I joined state University in 2016 as Assistant Professor on the scale of 15600-39100 +6000 GP, I was Permanent over there. I applied for the post of associate professor in another state University, through proper channel and joined as Associate Professor on lien.

    With Reference to Notifications No.7/204/2012- 4FP 1/66, dated 15.1.2015 (regarding giving basic pay) and Notification No. 7/42/2020-5FP1741-746 dated 17.07.2020 (revising pay scale) of Govt. of Punjab, my new university writes a letter to Finance Deptt to know how much pay they have to pay for the associate professor, in reply Finance personal–I replied that associate professor will get 78800/-. I was getting 70000/- as Assistant Professor
    My query is :
    1. If I protect my salary and at my new university to give my previous salary (75000/-) for the probation period, will I get 37600-67000 GP 9000 scale after completion of Probation ( as Govt. is planning to delinking university and colleges from UGC scales) ?
    2. Do Presumptive pay apply to me, someone says I have applied through the proper channel I must get associate professor scale + allowances.
